Sealed bids will be received by the City of Hudson, City Clerks Office, 505 Third Street, Hudson, Wisconsin, until 10:30 a.m. on Friday, July 25, 2008 at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud for the furnishing of all labor and materials and all else necessary for the following:
SIDEWALK FOR PORTIONS OF:
6th Street - Oak to Locust
7th Street - Wisconsin to River
8th Street - St Croix to Vine
9th Street - Vine to St Croix
10th Street - Pitt to Fox
Fox Street - 9th – 10th
Elm Street - 1st to 5th
Locust Street - 2nd to 6th
Walnut Street - 1st to 2nd
Vine Street - 2nd to Wisconsin
Emerald Bend
CURB & GUTTER REPLACEMENT FOR PORTIONS OF:

A section of Redwood Drive

Plans and specifications, proposal forms and contract documents may be obtained at the Public Works office at 505 Third Street, Hudson, WI 54016.
Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond naming the City of Hudson as the obligee, certified check payable to the City Clerk of Hudson or a cash deposit equal to five (5%) percent of the bid amount, which shall be forfeited to the City in the event that the bidder fails to enter into the contract.
The City reserves the right to retain the deposits of the three lowest bidders for a period not to exceed forty-five (45) days after the date and time set for the opening of bids. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of forty-five (45) days after the date and time set for the opening of bids.
The project is subject to prevailing wage rates established by the City of Hudson in accordance with the provisions of Section 66.293, Wisconsin Statutes.
The City Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive irregularities and informalities therein and further reserves the right to award the contract in the best interest of the City.
