An Eau Claire man has been ordered to stand trial in a stabbing death said to be caused by road rage.
A judge ruled Tuesday that there’s enough evidence to try Yeng Moua, 25, in the July 18 death of Joseph Weisenbeck, 28, of Menomonie.
A date for a plea hearing was not immediately set.
According to authorities, Moua was driving by himself when he got into a verbal exchange with Weisenbeck, who was a passenger in another car.
An argument apparently brewed before everybody got out of their vehicles and Moua allegedly stabbed Weisenbeck.
The victim’s friends tried to get him to a hospital but they couldn’t save him.
