Letter: McCain is best choice

In reply to Darla Meyers’ letter to the editor in the July 17 edition concerning candidates for president, I’m not sure how she can be so down on John McCain.

I’ve always admired his work in the Senate, voting on his beliefs for what is best for our country, whether with Republicans or Democrats. He has a 25 year pro-life voting record. He is our hope, while Barack Obama will end this hope for the unborn for at least four years if elected.

I most definitely respect Darla’s opinions and sincerely hope she and all others will stand up to defend the unborn, helpless babies and end this so-called “right” to kill them.

Please vote for John McCain for the unborns’ sake as well as to protect us from the terrorists of the world.
