The MyoMed Ragnar Relay Great River race will make its way from La Crosse to Minneapolis Friday and Saturday and could affect traffic locally. Teams of 12 will run relay-style along the Great River Road for 205 miles during the 24-hour event.
The MyoMed Ragnar Relay expects over 2,200 runners from all around the world.
Promoters said that “while a race of this size does bring excitement, it will also impact the routine of many residents.”
In an effort to minimize this impact, Hudsonites may want to be aware that the following roads could have heavy traffic from 11 p.m. Friday to 11 a.m. Saturday: Mayer Road, Industrial Street, Hanley Road, Heggen Street, Coulee Road, Buckeye Street, First Street, St. Croix Street, Sixth Street North and Hwy. 35.
