Letter: Backs Pabst in primary

Dear Editor,

Sept. 9 is an important day in the county — it is the day you can make a very important difference in how his county is run.

I have been a real estate developer for over 10 years. In those 10 years I have dealt with many departments at the county, but there is one that needs change.

Two people have announced their candidacy for the register of deeds. I am writing this to announce my support for Beth Pabst. Beth worked in the register of deeds for over 14 years. Whenever there was a problem with any of my documents, the other workers in the department would call on Beth for her expertise. Beth always had an answer and fixed the problem quickly and effectively.

Two years ago, Beth took a promotion in the real property listers office across the hall. Still, when I had an issue at the register of deeds office I was referred over to the real property listers office to talk to Beth Pabst. Again she would straighten everything out.

It would be a shame to waste Beth’s talent by not electing her to the position of register of deeds. I encourage everyone to get out on Sept. 9 and vote for Beth Pabst. This county really could use her expertise.
