Letter: Says Bruch is her choice

Dear Editor,

I recently read a letter to the editor in which a supporter of Kitty Rhoades touted Rep. Rhoades’ beneficent work with senior citizens. The writer stated that because of Rep. Rhoades, “seniors will not be forced into homes.”

However, Rhoades voted against the enhancement to Family Care, which allows seniors to stay in their own homes instead of being forced into nursing homes. That doesn’t sound very helpful to the seniors of our state. Wisconsin needs better care for all of its citizens, including seniors. Rep. Rhoades has consistently been an obstacle to health care initiatives.

Unlike Kitty Rhoades, Assembly candidate Sarah Bruch will fight for a health care plan that will enable all Wisconsin citizens to get the care they need without risking financial ruin.
