Beth Pabst defeated Geri Campbell in Tuesday's primary race for the Democrat Party spot on the November ballot in the race for St. Croix County Register of Deeds.

Beth Pabst defeated Geri Campbell in Tuesday's primary race for the Democrat Party spot on the November ballot in the race for St. Croix County Register of Deeds.

Pabst garnered 1,544 votes to Campbell's 1,423. Pabst is likely to be elected to the post in November because she will be running unopposed in the general election.

Incumbent Register of Deeds Kathleen Walsh did not run for re-election. Pabst and Campbell have both worked in the office and both chose to run as Democrats.

On the Republican side, incumbent District 30 State Rep. Kitty Rhoades easily defeated challenger Bob Hughes, 2,428-376. Rhoades will face Democrat Sarah Bruch in the Nov. 3 election.
