HHS homecoming is next week

Preparations are under way for Hudson High School’s Homecoming celebration beginning next week.

Preparations are under way for Hudson High School’s Homecoming celebration beginning next week.

Events this year include:

  • The selection of 10 senior candidates and this year’s Homecoming queen.

  • Schoolwide pep fest Friday, Sept. 26, at 1:30 p.m.

  • Dress-up days on campus.

  • The junior vs. senior girls powderpuff football game Sept. 26 at Newton Field.

  • Homecoming parade Sept. 26 at 3:30 p.m. in downtown Hudson.

  • Queen coronation before Friday’s game at 6:15 p.m.

  • Homecoming game against the River Falls Wildcats followed by the dance and bonfire.

    The parade will start at 3 p.m. at the Hudson Area Joint Library and continue south on Second Street.

    Senior team members and cheerleaders will once again be visiting all the elementary schools in the “Spirit Bus” to encourage school spirit districtwide.
