Audition next week for ‘Best Christmas Pageant Ever’

The Phipps Children’s Theater will hold auditions for adults and children ages 6 and older for “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” on Monday and Tuesday, Sept. 29 and 30, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. in the main stage theater of The Phipps Center for the Arts. Parents must accompany their children to auditions.

Families are encouraged to audition together. Those auditioning should bring a photo or school picture for the director. All will be asked to read from the script and sing a few bars from a Christmas song of their choice. Those auditioning should also bring a list of conflicts they may have during the rehearsal period. The director is Kasey Tunnell.

Rehearsals will be Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings as well as Saturday mornings and Sunday evenings, beginning Oct. 13. Five performances are scheduled Dec. 11-14 on Thursday and Friday at 7 p.m., Saturday at 2 and 7 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. For more information, call The Phipps Center at (715) 386-2305.
