Hudson’s Spirit of the St. Croix Days, a four day fall event Oct 15-18, will combine family entertainment, education and a sport event, The Professional Walleye Trail, to promote and celebrate Hudson and the St. Croix River Valley and all of its amenities.

Sponsored by The Hudson Area Chamber of Commerce & Tourism Bureau and Wisconsin Department of Tourism, one of the features is the Taste of Hudson, Food, Wine & Beer Experience Friday, Oct. 17 in Lakefront Park. The event will take place in a 40x90-foot clear-roofed tent.

Participants will sample foods from nine local restaurants: Afton House Inn, Barker’s Bar & Grill, Hudson Golf Club, Mama Maria’s Italian Ristorante, Paddy Ryans, Pier 500, The Nova, San Pedro Café and Winzer Stube. Samples of Wisconsin beers and wines will also be available, and jazz entertainment all in an upscale venue, all for one price.

Participants will also receive a commemorative wine glass and beer glass. Organizers expect this event will sell out fast. Entry passes are available for $65 from the Hudson Area Chamber of Commerce & Tourism Bureau by calling (800) 657-6775.
