Letter: Pro-abortion is selfishness
Why is it stated that a “baby/child was born dead,” if it did not survive nor take a breath? At what point and time did it go from being a fetus to a child?By: Bev Burton, Hudson, Hudson Star-Observer
Dear Editor,
Why is it stated that a “baby/child was born dead,” if it did not survive nor take a breath? At what point and time did it go from being a fetus to a child?
There were children who had survived botched abortions and Obama stood up on the Senate floor and spoke against administering medical attention to these children. That’s not even abortion, that’s infanticide!
He said that “one would have to unnecessarily call in an emergency doctor and that it would lead to the erosion of a woman’s right to choose.”
God forbid that he be concerned about eroding the sanctity of life though! What Christian faith did that come from? Now how is that for the concern of the life of the mother? Just some more of a liberal’s true acts of compassion!
I just wish they would also have a little tough love when it comes to paving a bad example for the ones having the abortions. There have been nearly 50 million consequences!
They stand so strong against the innocent being killed in Iraq, but have no qualms about the killing of tens of thousands of innocent babies! Sounds a little hypocritical! Also makes one wonder if that is their true concern regarding the war?
I would ask, how would you have liked to have been a product of your own belief? No, but you have no problem with someone else being a product of your belief?
Liberalism is selfish. Even though you may say “that you wouldn’t care, because you wouldn’t have known the difference anyway,” which is a backward way of looking at it.
To me, I always find it quite ironic how the liberals continually use the argument that “the government should keep their hands off their bodies and out of their bedrooms,” while these same ones always seem to want the government’s hands in my pockets! And even to the extent of paying for their abortions!
There are many alternatives and provisions; and a baby can be anonymously dropped off at numerous sites, where they can be adopted by many who are compassionately looking to adopt. It is understood that it is not always an easy choice, but many women end up going through life with dire regrets of making the wrong decision.
In Deut. 30:19 it says: “…choose life that both you and your seed may live.” God is pro-life!
