Trinity holds supper
Trinity Lutheran Church is hosting Empty Bowls – Soup Supper and Silent Auction from 5:30-7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 16, in the gymnasium of the downtown campus, 1205 Sixth St. The purpose of the event is to raise funds to feed the hungry worldwide.
Trinity Lutheran Church is hosting Empty Bowls – Soup Supper and Silent Auction from 5:30-7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 16, in the gymnasium of the downtown campus, 1205 Sixth St. The purpose of the event is to raise funds to feed the hungry worldwide.
A simple meal of various kinds of soups, breads and homemade desserts will be offered for a free-will offering – anytime between 5:30 and 7.
The silent auction of “bowls,” empty to signify hunger in the world, closes at 6:45. There will also be displays from world hunger agencies that directly benefit from this year’s fund-raiser.
