Simley simply falls to swim team 104-82

The Raider swim team used a combination of placings to defeat Simley, Minn., 104-82, in what Coach Dick Clark said was a great victory.

The Raider swim team used a combination of placings to defeat Simley, Minn., 104-82, in what Coach Dick Clark said was a great victory.

Firsts for Hudson, all by a wide margin, were: The 200 medley relay team of Noey Anderson, Melly Meyer, Chella Bhagyam and Catie Weese (2:03.18), Bhagyam in the 200 freestyle (2:05.79) and the 100 butterfly (1:06.20); Anderson in the 200 individual medley (2:22.74) and the 100 backstroke (1:07.00); Weese in the 50 freestyle (26.78) and 100 freestyle (59.50); and the 400 freestyle team of Anderson, Mackenzie Nicely, Bhagyam and Weese (3:57.50).

Seconds were: Sarah Monette in 1 meter diving (1:58.95); Nicely in the 500 freestyle (5:53.64); the 200 freestyle relay team of Meyer, Ebonee Townsend, Ronni Schoenherr and Nicely (1:52.19); and Meyer in the 100 breaststroke (1:18.28).

Thirds in individual events were: Nicely in the 200 freestyle (2:13.89); Meyer in the 200 IM (2:31.74); Townsend in the 50 freestyle (27.79) and the butterfly (1:13.90); Shannon Grayes in the 500 freestyle (5:59.87); and Melissa Annen in the breaststroke (1:24.85).
