Swing choir at women’s club meeting Tuesday at The Phipps

The Hudson High School Swing Choir will perform for the Hudson Women’s Club monthly meeting at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 21, at The Phipps Center for the Arts River Room.

The choir portion will be at 2 p.m. in the Black Box Theater under the direction of Kari Heisler, vocal music instructor. The public is invited to attend the performance, which will include songs from the upcoming musical, “Singin’ in the Rain,” such as: “Good Morning” and “Fit As a Fiddle.” The program includes other popular standards.

The Hudson Women’s Club supports education as one of its key mission elements and awards scholarships to seniors. The club meets the third Tuesday of the month at 1 p.m., usually at The Phipps Center. Members are encouraged to bring guests.
