Nathaniel Howard Schousek, 9 months old, of Hudson, died Saturday, Oct. 4, at Children’s Hospital in St. Paul.
Nathan was born on Dec. 21, 2007, to Brian (Schmidt) and Theresa (Matousek) Schousek in St. Paul.
Nathan was a considerable flirt with a big, beautiful smile. At 9 months he was just starting to get around by crawling. Nathan was a fan of strawberries, pineapple and white wedding cake frosting. He loved spending time with his sisters and playing with the family cat (especially its tail).
He will be dearly missed by his parents; sisters, Elizabeth Margaret, 8, and Victoria Rose, 2 ½; grandparents, Howard and Carole Schmidt, and John and Susan Matousek; aunts and uncles, Gregory Schmidt (Rhonda), Rebecca Schmidt (Peter Ryan), Michelle Matousek (James Fugazzi), John Matousek (Bethany) and Jennifer Matousek; numerous cousins and friends.
Nathan will now join, in heaven, his brother, Zachary James Schousek, who preceded him in death 10 years ago this month.
Services for Nathan were Wednesday, Oct. 8, at the Family of Christ Lutheran Church, 285 County E, in Houlton at 11 a.m.
Visitation was Tuesday, Oct. 7, from 4-7 p.m. and also one hour before services on Wednesday. O’Connell Funeral Home in Hudson has been entrusted with the arrangements.
