Letter: Vote for Republicans
Because socialism has already been tried by the Pilgrims, and deemed a failure in America, I would like to urge people to vote for Republican candidates on Nov. 4.By: Medora Koehler, Hudson, Hudson Star-Observer
Because socialism has already been tried by the Pilgrims, and deemed a failure in America, I would like to urge people to vote for Republican candidates on Nov. 4. These candidates want to allow Americans to be responsible for their own decisions and well-being, rather than raise taxes so the government is granted permission to manage our lives.
Both Kitty Rhoades and Sheila Harsdorf worked hard to defeat Gov. Doyle’s $18 billion proposed tax increase last year. High taxes crush the incentive to work hard and be creative.
