Tour of Homes is Nov. 22-23

The Hudson Area Chamber of Commerce annual Christmas Tour of Homes is Nov. 22-23. This year’s tour includes two homes on Hudson’s historic Vine Street, a house built in the 1850s in the town of Hudson, and two more contemporary houses, along with the Octagon House.

  • This year’s homes are located at 904 Vine St., 424 Vine St., 1056 Scott Road, 1124 Juniper Way and 1805 Trillium Way.

    Tour weekend begins with the Black Tie Affair, Friday, Nov. 21, a preview of the homes via limousine with music, hors d’oeuvres and dessert at the Hudson Golf Club. Tickets are $95 per person.

    The Craft Sale and Marketplace is on Saturday only from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Best Western Hudson House Inn. In addition to the crafters, the holiday marketplace will feature products for sale from home-based businesses.

    Tickets for the tour are $20 and are available at the Chamber office, Seasons on St. Croix and Lavender Thymes. A free shuttle bus is available for tour-goers that includes stops at each of the homes as well as several locations downtown and on the hill.

    All those who purchase tickets before Nov. 19 are automatically entered in a drawing for five door prizes valued at $250 each. Door prizes are also available at participating merchants.

    CCH craft/bake sale

    Christian Community Home is holding its annual craft and bake sale during Tour of Homes weekend. Hours are noon-5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 21, and 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 22, at CCH, 1320 Wisconsin St. Featured will be a variety of Christmas decorations and gifts, and home-baked goods. All proceeds are used to bring in entertainment for the residents and supplement the activity budget.
