RESOLUTION APPROVING AMENDMENT TO THE TOWN OF HUDSON ZONING ORDINANCE - INDUSTRIAL REPACKAGING
RESOLUTION APPROVING AMENDMENT TO THE TOWN OF HUDSON ZONING ORDINANCE - INDUSTRIAL REPACKAGING
St. Croix County, Wisconsin
WHEREAS, on September 2, 2008, the Town of Hudson enacted the following zoning ordinance amendment to Section 105-13 B (8) Industrial District to read:
On-site storage of production equipment, materials and trucks and trailers is permissible when such uses are a direct support to the principal use of the site improvements and structures for the manufacturing, compounding, processing, packaging, repackaging and/or assembly of products and materials.
AND to add to Section 105-35 Definitions:
Repackaging-The breaking down of entire shipments into smaller parcels for reshipping.
WHEREAS, Section 60.62 (3), Wisconsin Statutes requires that in counties having a county zoning ordinance no town zoning ordinance amendment is effective unless approved by the county board; and
WHEREAS, St. Croix County has a zoning ordinance; and
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Committee has reviewed the proposed amendment and recommends approval.
THEREFORE, be it resolved by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors that the amendment to the Town of Hudson Zoning Ordinance described above is hereby approved.
