Grapplers hit the grill
The Hudson High School wrestling team kicked off the season with its annual burger fund-raiser, held Nov. 6 at Dick’s Bar and Grill. More than 300 wrestling fans attended the fifth-year event.

The Hudson High School wrestling team kicked off the season with its annual burger fund-raiser, held Nov. 6 at Dick’s Bar and Grill. More than 300 wrestling fans attended the fifth-year event.
“Not only do we raise a lot of money, but we have a great time with so many fans getting together,” said Coach Chris Hansen. “It is very nice to see a local business giving so much support to our program.”
At the event, the wrestlers bus the tables, stack glasses and wrap silverware, among other things.
“I think the parents like seeing their teenage sons doing dishes,” Hansen said with a laugh.
The wrestlers report to practice on Monday, Nov. 17.
