Wisconsinites reminded it’s time to renew No Call
If you signed up for Wisconsin's No Call List two years ago, it's time to do it again. The Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection reports there are 1.4 million phone numbers on the state's list.
If you signed up for Wisconsin's No Call List two years ago, it's time to do it again. The Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection reports there are 1.4 million phone numbers on the state's list.
Telemarketers are not allowed to call those numbers. Wisconsin residents have even put 92,000 cell phone numbers on the list.
You can sign up 24-7, by going online to the Web site nocall.Wisconsin.gov, or calling 866.966.2255.
The deadline to renew is the end of November. Individuals can still list their names after that, but it wouldn't become effective until April.
