Hudson Mayor Dean Knudson announced appointments to three city commissions at the Nov. 10 City Council meeting.
Mary Claire Olson, a former president of the Hudson Area Chamber of Commerce, has been named to the Plan Commission. She replaces Don Mailloux, who has resigned from the commission.
Olson left the Hudson Chamber to take a job with the Minneapolis Chamber of Commerce. She now is the marketing director for an architectural firm.
Mary Yacoub was appointed by Knudson to take Terry Gherty’s place on the Police and Fire Commission.
Gherty resigned from the commission before the end of his five-year term. Yacoub, a resident of the Red Cedar Canyon neighborhood, will serve the remainder of Gherty’s term.
Longtime Public Utility Commission member James Pribil was re-appointed to another five-year term.
The mayor’s appointments were confirmed by the council.
