Cast named for ‘Best Christmas Pageant Ever'

The Phipps Children’s Theater announced the cast of “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever.” This holiday favorite by Barbara Robinson runs Dec. 11-14 at The Phipps Center for the Arts.

Liz Malanaphy will play Grace Bradley and fellow Hudsonite Greg Tuchel will portray her husband. Their daughter, Beth Bradley, is played by Hudson resident Jordon Stewart, and brother Charlie Bradley is played by Quentin Walker of Cottage Grove, Minn.

Their antagonists, the Herdmans, will be played by Dominic Meincke, Susanne Bushman, Charlie Johnson and Clara Malanaphy, all of Hudson, Mitchell Wolf of River Falls and Anna Seppings of Lake Elmo, Minn.

Other cast members are Lisa Jenkover-Banitt, Elise Banitt, Emily Banitt and Tracey Bannitt from Prescott; Ian Wolf and Annissa Lesmeister of River Falls; Zack Cambronne and Julie Cambronne of Maplewood, Minn.; Lee Seppings and Diana Swanson of Lake Elmo; and Samantha Finberg of Stillwater, Minn.

Other participants from Hudson are Meghan Olson, Judy Meincke, Sophie Tuchel, Mariah Buelow, Carter Johnson, Phillipe Thao, Colton Parks, Jacey Ekholm, Hannah Burns, Savannah Havens, Anna Kroll, Mathew Yerry, McKenna Selissen, Jessica Meagher, Jaci Meagher, Erin O’Brien, Dani Inman, Kelsey Robertson, Kate Malanaphy, Mary-Therese Druffner, Elijah Verdoorn, Joseph Yerry, Isaac Yerry, Jonah Yerry, Samuel Yerry and Terry Gherty.

Five performances are scheduled on the main stage Dec. 11-14 on Thursday and Friday at 7 p.m., Saturday at 2 and 7 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. Tickets are $13 for students 18 years and younger and $15 for adults.
