Dania Hall houses Phipps art fair

The Phipps Center for the Arts’ third annual Holiday Art Fair is scheduled Friday, Dec. 5, 5-9 p.m., and Saturday, Dec. 6, 10 a.m.-4 p.m., in Dania Hall, 511 Second St., in downtown Hudson. The fair will feature over 10 artists offering a range of work for holiday gift-giving.

Also in downtown Hudson are a candlelight stroll with carriage rides and carolers on Friday evening, and Reindeer in the Park with a visit from Santa on Saturday. From 1-3 p.m. Saturday, The Phipps will host a free holiday art activity under the direction of River Falls artist William Ammerman.

Throughout the art fair, “A Gift by the Hand,” the annual holiday sale of handmade items by local and regional artists, will be open in the Gift Gallery of The Phipps Center, 109 Locust St. For more information, contact Anastasia Shartin, visual arts director, at (715) 386-2305, ext. 103.
