Catch ‘Best Christmas Pageant’ this weekend

A large cast at The Phipps Center for the Arts is staging the holiday classic “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” this weekend only – Dec. 11-14 – at The Phipps, 109 Locust St.

The 47 performers are from throughout communities in the St. Croix Valley, including Hudson, River Falls, Prescott, Stillwater, Maplewood, Cottage Grove, and Lake Elmo.

“In my mind this story echoes what I think is especially important in our society today, there is good in everyone — don’t judge a book by its cover,” said director Kasey Tunell.

Performances are on the main stage Thursday and Friday at 7 p.m., Saturday at 2 and 7 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. General admission tickets are $13 for students 18 years and younger and $15 for adults. For reservations, call The Phipps ticket office at (715) 386-8409.
