HUDSON SCHOOL DISTRICT: 11/11/08 CLOSED and OPEN SESSION MINUTES

Regular Board of Education Meeting

November 11, 2008

CLOSED SESSION

Present: Board members Brian Bell, Cindy Crimmins, Tom Holland, Mark Kaisersatt, Lynn Robson, Daniel Tjornehoj and Barbara Van Loenen. Also present, Superinten-dent Mary Bowen-Eggebraaten, District Deputy Director Nancy Sweet, and Attorney Joseph Langel, of Ratwick, Roszak & Maloney, P.A.

Holland excused himself from the Closed Session.

The Board of Education deliberated over and conducted specific public business referring to a potential financial agreement which requires a Closed Session for competitive reasons.

Attorney Joseph Langel left the meeting.

Holland rejoined the meeting.

The Board of Education considered the employment and compensation of a public employee.

The Board of Education discussed preparation for employee negotiations with all represented groups.

Crimmins moved, with second by Bell to return to Open Session. Motion passed on a voice vote.

OPEN SESSION

Holland excused himself from the meeting.

Crimmins moved, with second by Van Loenen, that due to the necessity to complete the work prior to winter weather conditions, that the Camp St. Croix Drainage Agreement to restore the top of a ravine in an area directly adjacent to County Road F on property owned by the YMCA of Greater St. Paul with some measure of shared cost be approved pending finalization of the details of such agreement by the administration in consultation with the President and Vice President of the Board. Motion passed on a voice vote.

Holland rejoined the meeting.

Bell moved, with second by Kaisersatt to adjourn. Motion passed on a voice vote.
