Historical society reports items missing
The historical society in Hudson is looking for about 45 missing items from its collection. The St. Croix County society is not sure if the books and documents were stolen - or if they were taken by researchers who forgot to return them.

The St. Croix County society is not sure if the books and documents were stolen - or if they were taken by researchers who forgot to return them. They're not supposed to be taken out of the History Room at the Hudson Area Joint Library.
The most expensive missing item is said to be Volume-One of the "History of the St. Croix Valley," written by August Easton. The two-volume set is worth around $450. The society's Nancy Hawkinson fears that her group will never find some of the items again.
