Beverly Jane Lindau, 75, of Hudson, formerly of Lakeland, died on Monday, Dec. 22, at St. John’s Hospital in Maplewood, Minn.
She was born the daughter of Harvey and Bernice (Hattimer) Heckel on Jan. 20, 1933, in Red Wing, Minn. She attended grade school and graduated from high school in Sumner, Wash., and went on to attend business school.
In November of 1960, Beverly was united in marriage to John “Jack” Lindau.
Beverly did some work as a model for Merle Norman Cosmetics and Northwest Airlines, where she then became a stewardess; later she was a member of the retired stewardess association. She also worked as a jury coordinator/clerk at the Washington County Courthouse.
She enjoyed golfing, especially at Five Flags Country Club in Balsam Lake, and playing cards — Euchre, Cribbage and 500. Beverly was a daredevil, always young at heart and carefree.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Jack.
Beverly is survived by her daughters, Lori (Mike) Clark of Stillwater and Kathy Lindau of Hudson; son, Bill Lindau (Suzie Hertogs) of Hudson; grandchildren, Tori, Chanteal and Jared; sister, Shirley (Bill) Olson of Sumner, Wash.; extended family and friends.
A memorial gathering was Saturday, Dec. 27, from noon to 3 p.m. at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home in Hudson.
Memorials are preferred to the Shriner’s Hospital for Children.
