Loans available for artists
A free informational meeting on the Artist Loan Fund program, coordinated by Springboard for the Arts, is at 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 22, at The Phipps Center for the Arts.

The program provides low-interest loans from $1,000 to $5,000, at a rate of 1 percent above the prime rate, simple interest, to artists in the Twin Cities area, which includes St. Croix County. Loan terms are from 12 to 36 months.
Applicants must attend an informational meeting before initiating the process.
