Letter: Clean your dog’s mess

It is beyond my comprehension why you do not clean up after your dogs when taking them on their daily walks. Just because it might be dark when you’re out doesn’t give you the right to ignore the mess.

Dear Editor,

It is beyond my comprehension why you do not clean up after your dogs when taking them on their daily walks. Just because it might be dark when you’re out doesn’t give you the right to ignore the mess. So it’s dark and you can’t see where it is, then carry a flashlight.

But the true height of your thoughtless stupidity, however, happens when you take the time to pick up the mess, only to drop the bag and its contents on the side of the path on which you’re walking.

It’s not like you’re ignorant of the law which requires you to clean up after your dogs; you might also be contributing to the spread of disease among other dogs.

Quit with your laziness, already, and do what’s right.
