A Hudson man has pleaded to four felony charges in connection with a sexual assault case.
Dustan Charles Warren, 27, 1007 Lincoln Lane, appeared from jail Monday afternoon before Judge Howard W. Cameron. He was charged with second-degree sexual assault, aggravated battery, false imprisonment and reckless endangerment Dec. 1 and was held on $100,000 cash bail.
He pleaded innocent to all charges, and bail was modified to a $500,000 signature bond. A scheduling conference was set for Feb. 12.
The criminal complaint alleged that on Nov. 27, Warren assaulted a 35-year-old woman, threatened her with a knife and attempted to have sex with her against her will after a party at her Hudson residence. Warren told investigators he wasn't at the party but was inebriated and lost in the woods near Bayport, Minn., when the incident occurred, the complaint said.
At a Jan. 27 hearing the following charges against Warren were dismissed: disorderly conduct from a July 3 incident, disorderly conduct, bail jumping and possession of THC from Sept. 12, disorderly conduct and bail jumping from Sept. 20, and disorderly conduct and bail jumping from Oct. 12.
