Pond hockey tourney cancelled
The pond hockey tournament that was to be part of the Hudson Hot Air Affair celebration has been cancelled due to previous commitments of St. Croix County Little League youth hockey players.By: Randy Hanson, Hudson Star-Observer
The pond hockey tournament that was to be part of the Hudson Hot Air Affair celebration has been cancelled.
Mayor Dean Knudson announced at Monday night’s meeting of the City Council that the group planning to hold the tournament, St. Croix County Little League, discovered that the youth hockey players it hoped to recruit for the tournament had previous commitments.
St. Croix County Little League is now planning to host the tournament on the St. Croix River as part of the 2010 Hot Air Affair, Knudson reported.
