Organist plays pop, rag and Broadway

Dave Wickerham will perform a diverse program spanning Broadway shows to pop and Joplin rags to Bach on the Wurlitzer theater pipe organ at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 14, at The Phipps Center for the Arts.

Dave Wickerham will perform a diverse program spanning Broadway shows to pop and Joplin rags to Bach on the Wurlitzer theater pipe organ at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 14, at The Phipps Center for the Arts.

Since 1976, Wickerham has played at pizzeria restaurants in Arizona, Illinois, Las Vegas and Wisconsin. He also served as a church organist and currently lives in Florida, where he is the organist in residence/curator of the Milhous Museum in Boca Raton. The museum houses three pipe organs, restored musical instruments and classic cars from the early 20th century.
