Letter: Urges city to leave as is

The article in the Star-Observer does not make a financial case for the change (City may merge water and sewer utilities – March 5, Star-Observer). Unless a significant cost can be established, please leave it alone.
In Hudson, we are provided an excellent water and sewer service at an excellent price. I have family and friends in other cities in St. Croix County and they pay a lot more (two to three times as much). I do not recommend changing anything since the current structure keeps the cost low. These two organizations are operating at a reasonable cost and providing a great service.
