Load limits set

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation announced seasonal weight restrictions on Hwy. 65 in St. Croix County that went into effect this week.

Vehicles are restricted to six tons gross load for single axles and 10 tons for tandem axles on Hwy. 65 from the junction with County H in Star Prairie north to U.S. Hwy. 8 in Polk County.

Trucks hauling milk, heating fuel and septic materials are exempt from seasonal load limits on this segment, WisDOT said.
