Dear Editor,
Sometimes longtime politicians and public officials get so entrenched in their positions they lose sight of what they were voted or hired to do – that is to protect and serve all people on an equal basis, especially those in the area they were voted to serve.
Friendships are made along the way with various businesses, contractors, retailers, etc. Then when serious mistakes are sometimes made by these various business friends and entities, the politicians and officials tend to look the other way, rather than enforce the existing rules and regulations, in fear of losing these friendships.
I fear that this is happening in the town of Hudson. If you agree with this, vote for change in Gregg White, Dave Bartizal and Todd Mullinax. If not, vote for the status quo and hope for the best. Sometimes bad decisions can have a very long-lasting effect on a lot of people’s lives.
