Three named to All-BRC girls hoops team
Three members of the Hudson girls basketball team have been named to 2008-09 All-Big Rivers Conference teams. Morgan Zabel and Kaitlyn Haag were both named to the All-BRC second team while Katie Ecker received honorable mention.
Three members of the Hudson girls basketball team have been named to 2008-09 All-Big Rivers Conference teams.
Morgan Zabel and Kaitlyn Haag were both named to the All-BRC second team while Katie Ecker received honorable mention.
The Raiders finished the 2008-09 season with a record of 4-8 in BRC play, 5-13 overall.
Conference champion Eau Claire North had five players honored, including Player of the Year Sam Price, who was named to the first team along with teammate Whitney Rawdon, River Falls’ Tessa Wells, Menomonie’s Kelsey Andrist and Chippewa Falls’ Lori Kaeding.
Joining Zabel and Haag on the second team were Eau Claire North’s Laura Van Es, Eau Claire Memorial’s Josie Schultz and Rice Lake’s Ellen Western.
Hudson, River Falls and Chippewa Falls all had three players named to teams while Menomonie and Rice Lake had two and Eau Claire Memorial, one.
