Phipps honors volunteers

The Phipps Center for the Arts will host “Cheers for Volunteers,” its annual recognition of volunteers who contribute their time and talent, at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 21, at the Hudson Golf Club, 201 Carmichael Road.

All who have volunteered for the organization over the past year are invited to attend.

There will be a social time, dessert reception and cash bar from 7 to 7:30 p.m. along with the music of keyboardist Randy Amborn. Awards and recognition by the Phipps councils will begin at 7:30. A brief musical program by violinist Sarah Bertsch and guitarist David Mataya will conclude the evening.
