Hudson Police Chief Marty Jensen reported to the City Council on April 1 that his department has a police dog in training with the St. Paul Police Department.

The 2-year-old male German shepherd named Brisco is scheduled to graduate from the K-9 school on May 28.

His handler is patrol officer Todd Ludvik.

The Hudson Police Department has gone without a police dog since its previous one, Zeus, retired a couple of years ago.
