Raider booters beat River Falls in home opener

Junior Katy Schulte scored off a corner kick with three minutes remaining in the game to lift Hudson’s girls’ soccer team to a 4-3 victory over River Falls Thursday night at the middle school field.

The Raiders improved to 3-0 overall, 2-0 in the Big Rivers Conference while River Falls dipped to 2-1, 1-1 in the BRC.

The game marked the Raiders’ home opener and was the first game the team played on the middle school field. The team will play six of its seven home games this season under the lights at the middle school. Its next home game will be Thursday, April 16, at7 p.m. against Eau Claire North.
