Lori Elliott has joined the staff of the Hudson Golf Club as operations manager. She will oversee the operations of the club, while focusing her energies on marketing and membership development.

“It is really important to properly market the many qualities of the golf club in order for our members and our community to truly benefit from the club’s golf, dining and banquet operations. There is a misconception that we are completely private”, says Elliott.

“We have recently changed the name of our restaurant and bar to Carmichael’s in order to attract public business for lunch, happy hour, dinner, fish fries and buffets. The Hudson Golf Club offers a wonderful facility for our community, and we want to continue providing an excellent experience for all who support us.”

The Hudson Golf Club employs over 100 people, supports the Hudson High School golf teams and various charities, and facilitates many tournaments throughout the year. The golf course is now open to the public all day Mondays and after 1 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. For additional information, call (715) 386-6515.

Elliott’s was the owner of an interior design business for 16 years. She worked in marketing at Carmichael-Lynch Advertising, was an advertising manager for Flambeau Corporation, sales manager for Fox Television and account manager at WCCO Radio.

Elliott says she enjoys the people aspect of her work and hopes to bring great successes to the Hudson Golf Club, its members and the community.
