Julie Zezza, 50

Julie Antonia Elizabeth Zezza, 50, of North Hudson died Friday, April 24.

Julie was born on March 16, 1959, the daughter of Joseph and Jeanette (Larson) Zezza. She was raised in Hudson, graduating from Hudson High School in the class of ’77.

Julie enlisted in the armed forces where she proudly served in the United States Navy for 10 years, stationed in Virginia and Greece.

She loved being outdoors and maintaining her flower gardens. She was a quiet person who lived a private life taking care of her cats.

Julie is survived by her companion, Vince Johnson; brothers, Bill Zezza, Mark Zezza and Pat Zezza, all of Hudson, and their children, Tony, Sara, Ashley and Christine; and her godmother, Betty Zezza.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Mass of Christian Burial is at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 30, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Hudson.

Burial with full military honors was provided by the Hudson VFW in the church cemetery.

Visitation is one hour prior to the Mass at church on Thursday.

Memorials are preferred.

Funeral services were entrusted to the O’Connell Family Funeral Home of Hudson.
