A Glenwood City man charged with vehicle homicide in the death of a young woman in a March car crash in the town of Cylon has been ordered under house arrest.
Steven Daniel Tudahl, 26, 227 Maple St., is scheduled to return to court for a status conference before Judge Scott R. Needham May 18.
Tudahl pleaded innocent to seven felony charges and two counts April 16. He was ordered to post $3,500 cash bail, a $10,000 surety bond and be placed under house arrest. He may only leave his home for work and court appearances.
Tudahl was charged following a March 27 two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Hwy. 63 and County S at about 9 a.m.
The criminal complaint said Tudahl crossed the center line and entered the northbound lane sideways when he struck the Buick, then rolled over in the ditch. Deputies found that Larissa Dawn Christenson, 27, Glenwood City, was thrown from the SUV into the ditch.
