Zabel to play college ball

Hudson girls’ basketball standout Morgan Zabel, seated center, is flanked by her parents, Matt and Melissa, and Raider head coach Beth Graskewicz, standing, as she signs a letter of intent to attend college and play basketball at the University of Mary in Bismarck, N.D., next season.
Zabel, a 6-foot, 2-inch forward, was a second team All-Big Rivers Conference and player with the Raiders this year and averaged 10.1 points and 4.4 rebounds per game. She also received academic all-conference honors.
The University of Mary is a member of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference.
