PUBLIC NOTICE: AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT LOCAL PLAN FOR WEST CENTRAL WISCONSIN
The West Central Wisconsin Workforce Development Board, County Board’s Consortium and Workforce Resource, Inc. hereby provide notice of publication of the Local Plan guiding the use of federal American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) resources provided to supplement the Workforce Investment Act (WIA) services in West Central Wisconsin. This plan provides strategic direction for utilization of these ARRA workforce development resources in Barron, Chippewa, Clark, Dunn, Eau Claire, Pepin, Pierce, Polk and St. Croix Counties. The proposed plan covers the period from February 17, 2009 (the date of legislative enactment) through June 30, 2011.
This plan was submitted to the Department of Workforce Development for review on June 1, 2009. Public Comments regarding the draft plan will be accepted until June 30, 2009. Any comments regarding the plan should be forwarded to the Workforce Development Board Executive Director at the address, telephone number or web-site below. All comments received will be responded to and copies of comments and related responses will be forwarded to the Department of Workforce Development as a part of the plan review process.
