Didn’t like parking fine

Dear Editor,

While visiting your community last week, I took time to browse the many unique shops and galleries downtown. I was really enjoying my time shopping and was thinking of what a great little town Hudson was. Upon returning to my car — I found a $5 fee had to be paid.

Suddenly the pleasant experience wasn’t so pleasant. As a visitor, I felt slapped. Was the paltry tax from a parking meter worth the bad taste that will stay with me for a long time? With all the emphasis on customer service, I’m less then enamored with my customer experience. I guess I will do my shopping elsewhere next time I’m vacationing in Wisconsin.
