The St. Croix County Fair kicks off Thursday, July 23, and continues run through Sunday, July 26, at the St. Croix County Fairplex in Glenwood City. The theme is Fun in Your Own Backyard.
St. Croix County Fair Board President Dick Sullwold said there are lots of exhibits and stage entertainment offered at the fair for no cost.
Fun in Your Own Backyard means that in tough economic times, like what were facing now, people can still have fun at the fair, Sullwold said.
“People need to know that the St. Croix County Fair is a great community experience,” said Gail Maier, promotion committee chair. “It impacts people all over the county.”
The line-up for this year’s fair is similar to prior years.
