Middle school registration scheduled

Hudson Middle School, 1300 Carmichael Road, will register students from noon-6 p.m. on the following days:

--Tuesday, Aug. 11, for incoming eighth-graders;

--Wednesday, Aug. 12, for incoming seventh-graders; and

--Thursday, Aug. 13, for incoming sixth-graders.

Registration will take place in the south end of the middle school building by the office -- use the south parking lot. Families unable to make any of the scheduled registration days should contact the school prior to the first day of classes.

Parents with students in more than one grade at the middle school may register them all at one time. New students to the district should call the middle school office, (715) 377-3820, as soon as possible.

School pictures will be taken and must be paid for at that time if families want to purchase a particular package. Sports physical cards or alternate-year cards can be completed and turned in also.

Four separate checks may be needed for:

--Required fees: registration, $15; physical education, $4;

--Optional fees: student pictures; lunch money.

Previously purchased Hudson gym uniforms are acceptable to use. The middle school does not provide swimsuits but they are required for instructional swimming units -- boys must have a drawstring suit, and girls must have a one-piece swimsuit.
