Two people escaped serious injury when their single-engine plane crashed in a hay field in western Wisconsin.
According to Pierce County authorities, a Cessna C-185 had engine trouble before crashing about 10:10 p.m. Wednesday in the town of Clifton.
Mark Campillo, 39, and Miles Haisten, 53, both of Wasilla Alaska, walked away but they were still taken to a River Falls hospital to be checked.
Campillo was the pilot of a craft owned by David Meyer.
Pierce County deputies continue to investigate. And they’ve notified the FAA.
