Green Bay Packers’ safety Nick Collins will report to training camp after hinting last month that he might be a hold-out.
His agent Dave Butz confirmed Wednesday that Collins will show up on time.
Players will report to camp Thursday, and their first practice is on Saturday.
Collins is entering the fifth and final season of his rookie contract.
And because of an escalator clause, his salary jumped from $545,000 last year to just more than $3 million this year.
Still, Collins has been pushing for an extension after making his Pro Bowl in February.
He had seven interceptions and three touchdowns last season.
Collins’ father died in May, and he missed most of the Packers’ voluntary off-season workouts.
That led to speculation that he wasn’t happy with his current contract.
Meanwhile, the Packers have yet to sign first-round draft picks B.J. Raji and Clay Matthews.
All of the other draft choices are in the fold.
Today, Packer stockholders will attend the team’s annual meeting at Lambeau Field.
