Expect traffic delays Monday on River Road

Marie Schmit, clerk/treasurer for the town of St. Joseph, reports that there intermittent traffic delays on River Road Monday, Aug. 17, and possibly Tuesday, Aug. 18, while a construction crew puts seal-coating on the road.

Tar and rock will be applied over the entire length of River Road from County V to County I, Schmit said.

“They need your cooperation,” she said, encouraging motorists to be patient and to use alternate routes if they are available.
